In subsequent census records in Nebraska, Josef will give his age as much older than actual, possibly because his wife was older than he. However, Josef was the only male Koukal born in the Rozsochy parish in the period 1834-1839. His given name is correctly recorded in the birth records of his children, and the age and name of his wife are also correctly stated therein. | Family: F2819

| 24 | October 14 1795: Hinrich Frahm and Wiebke Thöm became engaged in Hohn!!! I have checked the books of all the church districts around Hohn. I could not find their marriage, not even in Hohn!!! But it seems, considering that they became engaged before the pastor of Hohn, that they got married there, too, and that the possible reason for the missing of the marriage in the church book is that the pastor simply forgot to write it down. It is therefore most probable that they got married about 1796, because their first child Margaretha Frahm was born on Dec 10 1797. | Family: F6319

| 26 | A contract was created upon the marriage of Josef and Františka which conveyed certain rights to each party. This contract was subsequently filed in the K.k. Land Register Office in Bystrice nad Pernstejnem as part of a deed which officially confirmed the property rights stemming from the marriage contract. This resulting deed also recorded the subsequent passage of ownership of farmstead #7 in Rovné. The farmstead was originally owned by Josef's father, also named Josef (b. 1790). It appears title to the property passed to the son on 16 Nov 1849. It is likely that the father has died and his so inherited the property. Upon the son's marriage, joint ownership of the property passed to his wife, Františka, as conveyed in the marriage contract of 23 June 1851. This change in ownership was recorded on 25 June 1851. On 19 April 1889, upon the death of Josef (b. 1830), his half of the property passed to his son, Antonin by inheritance. This deed was recorded on 25 April 1889. Antonin's mother, Františka, still retained her ownership in the other half. In early 1893, Františka died and her share of the property passed to Antonin, giving him full ownership in farmstead #7. The inheritance deed was conveyed on 23 March 1893, and recorded on 26 Sep 1893. Value of the property was placed at 1250 guldens. Then, on 17 Oct 1893, Antonin sold the property to one František Kalašek for the price of 1775 guldens, and the deed was recorded on 20 Oct 1893. | Family: F732
