McDonald VIRDEN - Alice Irene McDonald, 95, of Virden died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Heritage Manor in Carlinville. She was born Oct. 25, 1910, in Tuscola, the daughter of Rom L. and Phoebe Blasse Gilreath. She married Ruby Belvia McDonald; he preceded her in death. Mrs. McDonald was a homemaker. Survivors: two sons, Eugene (wife, Barbara J.) McDonald of Chatham and Jerry E. (wife, June R.) McDonald of Carlinville; seven grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. No public services will be held. Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie is in charge of arrangements.
